The photo section has been updated with photos from the September Bird Show. Indie the Grey owned by the Show Manager Treabhor MacEochaidh who was runner up in Best Bird in Show & Paulie the Amazon owned by Paul Meehan who won Best Bird in Show 2009. Congratulations to both of them. Also there is a lovely photo from a friend in Switzerland. The November - December 2009 Magazine issue will be posted Wednesday 09th December 2009.

As from November 2009 the Magazine of the Parrot Society Ireland will be going out to members every 2 months. This is a huge step for such a young society so keep those memberships coming.
The October - December 2009 issue which was volume 3 issue 4 will now become the October issue 4. This will be posted out to members this week. Sorry for delay, this was due to getting enough research sorted for the November - December issue. The 5th issue of this year will be posted before the end of November. We hope you enjoy the extra 2 magazines each year now.

The bird show in Dundalk went very well. Thank you to all members who turned up. The best parrot in show and best runner up will be in the October issue of the parrot society ireland magazine. I was asked to thank Gerard Lanigan of the Budgerigar Society of Ireland for all his help and support he offered throughout the day. Also a huge thank you to Treabhor Mac Eochaidh our show manager, who did a great job in the build up to the show by contacting all members. Thank you to all of those who took his call. Hopefully we will see many more of you and you're birds at our next show. Mor e on the bird show will follow but the new magazine details and issues has to be top of the list.
